RE: I'm curious to know what you would do?

Since YOU asked.. get the HO version.... I drive a lot of new trucks to and from dealers, there is a noticeable difference between the 2... a small, but noticeable difference... Although, I have not towed with the new HO version... So, My vote is for the $10k upcharge and run the HO

RE: WTH ! ! ! Tires

^^. Makes sense Ron.... Either way, I'm happy to find it before rolling down the road, and I was already talking about getting replacements so the thought is not that bad right now...

RE: WTH ! ! ! Tires

Looks like a road hazard to me. You could change out with your spare, if you wanted to stretch another year, with no long distance travel in mind. If a separation though, the other tires may be soon to do the same. Yup, safe bet, all new tires! Got my new tires/wheels from Gallagher tire, right next door to you. Good price, very helpful sales guy! Jerry Gallagher Tire in Pottstown? What did you get from them?

RE: WTH ! ! ! Tires

I figured it was road hazard, just surprised it was curb side, rear axle.. NTHING wrong on the tire in front of it.. Oh well, No sense covering for winter, they are just on for support over the next few months..

WTH ! ! ! Tires

I was winterizing my rig today, and came across the issue pictured below. I have 5 seasons running them and was hoping for a 6th before replacing.. Looks like I will have new tires before heading out in the spring.. https://i.imgur.com/SDf2quim.jpg

RE: How to keep gray water from coming up into tub?

What the heck do all the tent cameras do when they wash their utensils, plates, canteens, whatever,???WHat about when they clean themselves?? They let the grey water flow down hill.... Its only GREY WATER after all, NO sewage.... DO I drain it on the ground, I've done that once or twice but MOST of my camping here on the East Coast is in RV Parks with full hook ups or dump stations...

RE: Line-x or Equivalent on Fold Down Step

Use either step treads ( carpet pieces) or anti slip tape that is made for that.

RE: I have a disgusting problem… HELP!!!

^^ They MAY have used a macerator to fill the drums?? They usually use a 3/4" garden hose as the output hose.

RE: Help identify high volume truck dealers

what are you looking for? 3/4 ton,1 ton? DRW, SRW ? trim level? Researching right now, but looking at 1 ton trucks in either XLT or Lariat. The bride will need to decide if XLT has enough gadgets for her or not. I'm curious how much actual payload is available in the 12,400 GVWR trucks with those trim levels. Otherwise, might be looking at a DRW. My brother in law has a 2022 Lariat with the 12,400#,,, his payload is 3500 I believe... If I get a chance tomorrow I will take a look at one of our 350's to see the trim and payload for you.

RE: Help identify high volume truck dealers

what are you looking for? 3/4 ton,1 ton? DRW, SRW ? trim level? We have been getting the XL-XLT levels delivered weekly, but not much above that.. The place I work ( Ford ) is about 2-1/2 hrs north of DC. We did a dealer trade with Ted Britt over in Fairfax and when I got there to do the trade they were a larger dealership...nice people also.. They show a bunch of 250's in XL and XLT with 5 in the Lariat trim..

RE: I have a disgusting problem… HELP!!!

I like the back hoe- dog hole and bury idea the best.. My buddy has 90 acres up northern PA, he burried a 55 gallon drum with holes punched in it so he can drain his RV when he boondocks up there..

RE: 5th Wheel Cover before snowbirding

I would rather walk on a snow covered RV roof, than snow covered tarp/cover on RV roof... I DO NOT cover and never have... IF I will be going out soon, I make sure I go up with a bower and remove what I can.. ONLY if it is gonna melt-re freeze ect.... that **** is a pain to get off. If I am not going anywhere soon, I let father sun take care of it

RE: Fifth wheel chucking (practical help needed)

it could be a lot of things..... what part of PA are you from? I HAD a Lippert Flex Air hitch ( basically the same ) and had chucking from the airbag being low at times.... thats a fast check
